Welcome to Caney Ridge Ranch, a family-run haven just six miles east of Owasso, Oklahoma. Nestled in the heart of beautiful countryside, our ranch offers stunning views perfect for photography sessions, creating memories that last a lifetime.

We’re proud to raise and sell quality cattle, partnering with trusted local farmers to deliver the best to our customers. At Caney Ridge Ranch, we combine hard work, family values, and a love for the land to bring you a unique and authentic ranch experience.

  • Two Hour Permit - $55

    If you have a large family or have semi mini sessions (limit 2 families per hour ) then 2 hour permits are the best value! Be sure to check the availability!

    1 Hour Permit- $35

    Great for single families, couples or maternity. Limit of 2 families/sessions per hour. Please show up no more than 10 minutes before your scheduled appointments and within 5 minutes of its end time.

    Sessions going 10 minutes or more over scheduled time may be assessed an overage fee.

  • Parking is located at our shop. on 470rd when you hit the gravel look to your left. there is a white building with red trim, flag pole. it is BEFORE the pinned address.

    You may also park down along the road in the east pasture to go to ridge or point

    For Large groups (cheerleaders, sports teams, extended family sessions), please encourage car-pooling. Special permission needed for more than 5 vehicles for any one session.

  • Caney Ridge Ranch is open 7 days a week.

    Monday and Tuesday

    1pm to sun-down (morning scheduling available upon request).

    Wednesday - Sunday

    sun-up to sun-down

    On occasion, the property will be closed to accommodate outside events. We may have to work cattle but we try to do this Mondays and Tuesdays until 1pm.

  • There are no restrooms or changing rooms on site.

    The closest restroom is QuikTtrip located 7 miles west near 169 & 116th St North. You are welcome to find a tree and pop a squat! After all, you are in the country. Please stay covered :)

  • Because we are a family-friendly photography site, we are unable to accommodate nudity or the appearance of nudity in sessions.

    Please refrain from having open containers of alcohol on property.

  • WE DO NOT ALLOW OUTSIDE DOGS ON THE PROPERTY.

    This is why…. You may be greeted by the dogs that live on the ranch. Annie and Duke are a black and white border collie. Duke is an old man, he wont bother you; however, Annie is the puppy and baby of the family. She has some serious FOMO (fear of missing out). If you tell her to “go home” she will!

    We also have a TON of livestock on the property: cows, horses, goats, chickens, etc. We know you love your pup, but the safety of the animals who live here is much more important to us

    That being said…. Please do not touch any livestock. Even if you are familiar with large animals.

    TOUCHING OR GOING NEAR ANY COWS AND HORSES ITS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

  • Our areas are broken down into groups

    Ridge and East pasture are limited to 2 photographers per hour

    Canopy, Point and East Pasture limited to 3 photogaphers

    Triangle and Main Ranch 3 photographers per hour

    All specials sets up such as the christmas trailer or fall decor are reserved for one photographer at a time

    From time to time we may choose to make allowances because of weather related issues.

  • There are 3 houses on the property. The main house at the top of the property is the ONLY home that may be photographed. Photographers are asked to stay off the porch, but the house can be photographed in the background. Due to small children, the other two houses on the property are off limits. We ask that you do not go past the marked areas near the other houses.

    DO NOT go in any barns or shops.

  • Ridge- FALL is the BEST!! Faces east but you can get some good shots shooting back towards west. the road past the ridge is great morning and evening

    Point- Best at Golden hour as is faces west.the far point should not have small children.

    Canopy- great for morning and day time pictures during summer and fall.

    Triangle and Pond- faces west but can be a bit bright with the sun!
    both have tall grass and pastures near.
